Mattinata is a wonderful spot on the Gargano Pennisula in Italy's
Puglia region. It is know for its Blue Flag (pristine) beach. While the
beach was made of pebbles, the town was exquisite, in the midst of
its Patron Saint Festival. And we were the only English speakers in
town! My Watercolor Pen & Ink class allowed me to relive this view
from my room at Torre Saracena.
